3D scanning & engineering for naval
Naval 3D scanning surveys the real geometry of a hull, a structure or onboard equipment to reconstruct drawings, inspect or prepare works — including in dry dock. Hulls without up-to-date drawings, stability calculations to redo, renovation to prepare: we survey the existing asset and return it as reliable 3D.

- Hulls and structures whose original drawings have been lost or no longer reflect the successive modifications
- Stability calculations to update on old or converted vessels
- Hull renovation works to prepare on reliable data
- Onboard equipment and engine holds with difficult access
Our answers
Real-world cases
Engine hold of the three-masted Belem
Commissioned by the Belem Foundation, we scanned and reconstructed in 3D the structure of the engine hold of the Belem — the last great French commercial sailing ship of the 19th century, listed as a historic monument — ahead of the hull renovation works. The 3D model accounts for the successive modifications and confirms the dimensions: a reliable basis for preparing the works efficiently.
Schooner Le Gallant — stability calculations
For the Blue Schooner Company, we 3D-scanned the schooner Le Gallant (built in 1916) with a view to updating the vessel's stability calculations.
SCAD Engineering — 15 years of industrial 3D scanning. Work led by a senior engineer. MASE certification No. 2024-411 (Seveso / ATEX sites). France & abroad.
